Here are some pictures of my Kubel replica project. This is a Kooble Kar that I am putting on a standard 64 Beetle chassis. Please do not copy the images but you are welcome to link to my page.

This is the original 40 hp out of the 64 Chassis. It has a 12 volt 356 Generator, Early Ghia air cleaner, 010 distributor and early 40 hp stale air tin. Later we put on a Kubel type repro muffler that looks great. The tin is all powder coated. 40 HP stale air tin has the same flappers to control the heat like the 25 hp engines of the real Kubels. We even figured out how to mount the regulator to the top of the generator.
