Day 2 – Sunday Februrary 15

Posted in Sonett III by Blade3562 on the February 20th, 2009

So on day 2 we had little mercy for the 1974 sonett. The day started off with  removing the front end. The service manual showed it as being a 30 minute ordeal. It probably took us a good 2 hours. This is due to the flip-up headlights that would keep catching the front cross support. We then started to remove the rubber lines. This was simple until we got to these odd looking clamps on the lower lines of the engine, eventually patience was shot and we dremmel tooled the original clamps off. The day then came to a close.
